Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a loss prevention consultant to provide moderately complex consultative services for an assigned customer group. You will conduct on-site evaluations, analyze data, and implement service plans to control risk, losses, and costs.

The role includes mentoring less experienced consultants, supporting management in policy and tool development, and pursuing profitable business opportunities across the client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with coursework in math, engineering or related areas and 5+ years directly related consulting experience in loss prevention or safety.
• Pursuing or obtained advanced degree and/or professional certification in CSP, ARM, CRM, CPCU, CIH, or CPE.
• Advanced knowledge in risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management and progress measurement.

Responsibilities

• Provides moderately complex consultative services to an assigned group of customers within a loss prevention specialty area or territory.
• Conducts on-site evaluations, evaluates data, and creates/implements service plans to control customer source of risk, losses and costs.
• Provides expert technical support to other loss prevention employees by advising them about resources, regulations, technology, and trends; monitors quality of services.
• Coaches, mentors and trains to develop others' capabilities as directed by management.
• Collaborates with management to develop policies, procedures, tools, and new products for loss prevention services.
• Identifies new business opportunities for LP services and designs programs to improve results and customer uptake.
