Job summary

Liberty Mutual is seeking a loss prevention consultant to deliver moderately complex consultative services. You will conduct on-site evaluations, analyze data, and implement risk-reducing service plans for a designated customer group. The role includes mentoring junior staff and collaborating on policy and tool development.

You will travel regularly to client sites, build relationships, and demonstrate value through measurable outcomes in safety and cost reduction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with coursework in math, engineering or related areas and at least 5 years of directly related consulting experience in loss prevention or safety.
Candidates are typically working towards or have obtained an advanced degree and/or professional certification (CSP, ARM, CPCU, CIH, or CPE).
Advanced knowledge in risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management and progress measurement.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to maintain customer relationships.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools and ability to create/modify complex documents and spreadsheets.
Position requires regular travel.

Responsibilities

Provides moderately complex consultative services to an assigned group of customers within a loss prevention specialty area or territory.
Conducts on-site evaluations, analyzes data, and creates/implements service plans to control risk, losses and costs.
Delivers risk assessment services and tracks progress to demonstrate value of services.
Acts as a trainer/mentor to less experienced consultants as directed by management.
Collaborates with management to develop policies, tools, resources, and new products.
Engages in acquiring and retaining profitable business and identifies new opportunities for LP services.
