HAMRICK'S INC. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to safeguard assets, contribute to store safety, and collaborate with management on shrinkage reduction.

The role emphasizes investigations, security checks, and emergency planning within a multi-store environment. The candidate should be 21+, with a service mindset, readiness for flexible hours, and valid driver’s license for court appearances and travel between Hamrick's locations.

• Ability to sit for long periods, stand, and be physically able to apprehend shoplifters
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.

• Conducts internal and external investigations, writes, and maintains reports, testifies in court cases, interviews subjects, suspects, witnesses, and victims via physical/CCTV means
• Conducts safety reviews and inspections
• Conducts routine employee spot checks on purchases, holds, personal belongings and trash
• Conducts routine physical security checks
• Responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of the emergency/disaster plan
• Maintain accountability through clear performance expectations
• Additional responsibilities to be determined as business requires
• Works in partnership with store management in matters concerning loss prevention

The Loss Prevention Specialist works as a member of a team responsible for the protection of company assets by preventing inventory shrinkage due to accidents. Identifies, prevents, corrects, and eliminates loss caused by internal, external, and paperwork errors.

Responsibilities

Partnership with Store Management Team to maintain control of shrinkage in all of its forms

Conducts internal and external investigations, writes, and maintains reports, testifies in court cases, interviews subjects, suspects, witnesses, and victims via physical/CCTV means

Conducts safety reviews and inspections

Conducts routine employee spot checks on purchases, holds, personal belongings and trash

Conducts routine physical security checks

Responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of the emergency/disaster plan
