Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to help protect assets by implementing external theft deterrence programs and conducting internal investigations. You will work with store teams, law enforcement, and local networks to reduce shortages and safeguard merchandise.

Responsibilities include CCTV surveillance, supporting investigations, maintaining case records, and serving as a Kohl's representative in legal proceedings when needed. Excellent judgment and confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Create partnerships with store, law enforcement, and local groups.
• Monitor activities to prevent theft and recover merchandise, per guidelines.
• Conduct surveillance of external theft using CCTV.
• Assist in internal theft investigations per guidelines.
• Complete and maintain all external and internal theft investigation case records per Kohl’s standards.
• Represent Kohl’s in legal proceedings as needed.
• Inform supervisors of shortage control opportunities.
• Monitor store alarms and EAS systems.
• Support loss prevention awareness in-store.
• Additional tasks may be assigned.
