Job summary

Five Below in Upper Darby, PA is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to help reduce shortages and safeguard merchandise. You will partner with the General Manager, monitor entrances, and perform security checks during nightly shifts.

Key duties include tracking deliveries at the employee entrance, conducting safety inspections, greeting customers, and maintaining compliance with store policies. The role requires standing 8 hours, lifting up to 20 lb, and flexible nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff and management.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 - 2 years of retail Loss Prevention experience.
• Basic understanding of retail or security.
• Ability to work nights and weekends to retail business needs.
• Stand for 8 hours and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to shortage reduction/ Investigations.
• Work with GM to ensure policy adherence.
• Maintain the employee entrance area.
• Track packages delivered via employee entrance.
• Conduct store security checks and recommend loss-prevention measures.
• Perform figure 8's in store and stay mobile.
• Provide a visible entrance/exit presence.
• Conduct safety inspections and report hazards.
• Greet customers as a Five Below associate.
