Job summary

Dick's House of Sport in New York is seeking a Loss Prevention & Safety Lead to mitigate losses and deter theft. You will model customer engagement, investigate external theft, and document cases for prosecution while training staff in LP programs and safety practices.

The role involves inventory controls, MES safety checks, and collaboration with store leadership. The position requires experience in loss prevention, strong reporting skills, and the ability to walk the sales floor and stockrooms

Qualifications

• Prior LP knowledge or education related to loss prevention.
• Experience in theft deterrence and safety programs is preferred.
• Ability to train store staff on LP processes and safety.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate losses by deterring external theft and enforcing programs.
• Investigate organized retail crime and document cases with law enforcement.
• Monitor for shoplifting, deescalate incidents, and maintain incident reports.
• Lead inventory movement reviews and compliance with security procedures.
• Partner with LP Director and store leadership on safety and compliance.
