Job summary

Omni Dallas Hotel is seeking a Loss Prevention Manager to oversee security operations and ensure standards are met across all shifts. You will coordinate hiring and discipline of security personnel, review critical incident reports, and coordinate guest room surveillance with senior leadership.

The role emphasizes collaboration with hotel departments, strong communication, and the ability to manage high-stress situations while maintaining guest safety and property protection.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Security/Loss Prevention Management experience in a hotel setting.
• High School Degree or Equivalent; Some College preferred.
• Exceptional people skills preferred.
• Must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform professionally under high levels of stress.
• Computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hiring and termination of all Security personnel in conjunction with the Director of Security.
• Ensure that all Security personnel functions are being properly completed by the Security Department.
• Ensure that shift personnel are properly assigned at all times.
• Responsible for disciplining Security personnel in conjunction with the Director Security.
• Review all reports completed by Security officers to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
• Maintains a good relationship with all departments within the hotel and ensures that efficient service is available at all times.
• Reports all observed hotel property deficiencies and safety hazards.
• Ensures that a thorough and complete investigation and report is made on incidents (losses, thefts, and acts of violence) incurred by guests and associates.
• Responsible for coordinating guest room surveillance in conjunction with the Director of Security.
• Ensures that all phases of the key control program are maintained and any discrepancies noted are investigated thoroughly and reported to the Director of Security.
• Ensures that all items of security equipment (uniforms, walkie-talkies, cameras, etc.) are kept clean and in good working condition.
• Monitors all traffic in the lobby area and restaurant, restrooms, garage area, and room service area to control non-guest activity.
• Reports all associates using unauthorized hotel entrances/exits when reporting for work or leaving for the day to the Director of Security.

Overview:

The Loss Prevention Manager will ensure the routines and tasks of each Loss Prevention shift are properly completed in accordance with Omni standards.

• High School Degree or Equivalent; Some College preferred
