Job summary

Continental is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate in North Ridgeville to identify theft by reviewing video footage across locations. This role requires utmost attention to detail while reviewing 6-8 hours daily and reporting findings to management.

Monday–Friday schedule with travel in the region and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs is expected. The position offers full-time employment with compensation at $18.00 per hour, supporting a dynamic team in a leading contract dining and refreshment

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; pursuing continuing education preferred.
• Self-directed with a results-oriented mindset and strong integrity.
• Proven problem-solving ability and teamwork in close quarters.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% regionally (southeastern Michigan to northern Ohio).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Review system generated reports to identify discrepancies in inventory.
• Review videos to observe customer and associate behavior.
• Identify and document incidents of theft or suspected theft.
• Prepare detailed reports for management and clients.
• Attend off-site client meetings to present findings and interview individuals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and authorities to resolve issues.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

The Experience You’ll Create

Key Responsibilities Include

• -Review system generated reports to identify discrepancies in inventory.
• -Review videos to observe customer and associate behavior.
• I-dentify and document incidents of theft or suspected theft.
• -Prepare detailed reports for review with management and clients regarding incidents.
• -Attend off-site client meetings to present findings and interview customers/associates suspected of theft.
• -Work with various stakeholders and authorities to achieve resolution.
• -Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Ingredients For Thriving

• -High school diploma required. Continuing education with bachelor's in criminal justice or retail management strongly preferred.
• -Prior experience with video review for loss prevention experience preferred.
• -Self-directed with a proven track record of delivering results with minimal guidance/direction.
• -Results oriented and flexible; Takes action as soon as a need arises and steadily follows through on tasks while communicating progress.
• -High level of integrity and dependability. Trustworthy and discreet, with high ethical standards and professional image.
• -Proven problem-solving ability. Detail-oriented with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• -Team player that doesn't mind working in close quarters with other team members.
• -Strong proficiency with electronic communication and Microsoft Office Suite.
• -Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time. Travel will be throughout southeastern Michigan down to Northern Ohio.
• -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• -Ability to work Monday – Friday
