Job summary

Continental Services in North Ridgeville is hiring a Loss Prevention Associate to review surveillance video for theft, assess inventory discrepancies, and document findings for management and clients. The role requires attention to detail, data-driven reporting, and collaboration with stakeholders.

You will travel up to 10% of the time and work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and maintain high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's in criminal justice or retail management preferred.
• Prior experience with video review for loss prevention.
• Self-directed with proven results.

The Experience You’ll Create:

The Loss Prevention Associate will be responsible for identifying theft while reviewing video footage of various locations. Ability to have strict attention to detail while reviewing footage for 6-8 hours per day is required.

Key responsibilities include:

• -Review system generated reports to identify discrepancies in inventory.
• -Review videos to observe customer and associate behavior.
• I-dentify and document incidents of theft or suspected theft.
• -Prepare detailed reports for review with management and clients regarding incidents.
• -Attend off-site client meetings to present findings and interview customers/associates suspected of theft.
• -Work with various stakeholders and authorities to achieve resolution.
• -Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Ingredients for Thriving:

• -High school diploma required. Continuing education with bachelor's in criminal justice or retail management strongly preferred.
• -Prior experience with video review for loss prevention experience preferred.
• -Self-directed with a proven track record of delivering results with minimal guidance/direction.

• -Ability to work Monday - Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
