Job summary

Continental Services is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Indianapolis to support daily warehouse operations. The role involves picking and packing orders, managing inventory with FIFO, and assisting with loading and unloading trucks as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be proficient with iPads and inventory systems, and work well both independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and commitment to service excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Previous warehouse experience preferred, handling orders and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders using technology (e.g., iPad, LightSpeed system).
• Organize and maintain inventory using FIFO.
• Load and unload trucks for routes and markets.
• Replenish stock and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Read schedules or requisitions to determine items to move or distribute.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to team leaders.
• Record accurate inventory counts of products picked, packed, scrapped, and excess.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily warehouse operations.

• Load and unload trucks for routes and markets.
• Replenish stock and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Read schedules, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to team leaders.
• Record accurate inventory counts of products picked, packed, scrapped, and excess.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ingredients for Thriving:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
• Comfortable using technology (iPads, inventory systems).
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn electric pallet jack; forklift certification encouraged.
• Consistently accurate and efficient order processing.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Effective communication with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
