Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Loss Prevention Associate to support store management and deter theft at the front of the store. You will greet customers, refer requests via an issued radio, and document incidents in AIIM Case Management while upholding company policies.

You must be able to stand for long periods, wear the approved uniform (including a body-worn camera), and maintain a professional store presence to protect the brand.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound decision-making and independent work ability.
• Prior retail or security experience preferred (0–2 years).
• Must follow uniform and safety policy requirements.
• Familiarity with incident reporting and store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss and dishonesty.
• Support a positive customer shopping experience.
• Stand at front of store or in department and greet customers.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents.
• Perform closing safety sweep with management.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Ensure personal safety and protect the company brand.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures; perform other duties.

Job description

• Support the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management


• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty


• Support a positive customer shopping experience


• Maintain a professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store


• Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department


• Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect


• Respond to customer assistance requests by referring customers to store management or customer service via a Company-issued radio


• Observe and report suspicious behavior or critical incidents to loss prevention or store management


• Perform a closing safety sweep with a member of management


• Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management


• Exercise sound judgment to ensure personal safety, others' safety, and protection of the Company brand


• Adhere to Company policies and support Company culture and values


• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 0-2 years of retail or security experience


• Must wear a complete Company-approved uniform including a body-worn camera
