Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
• Ensure all logs are consistent, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Assist managers in completing and processing incident reports.
• Lead with hospitality to resolve and diffuse conflicts that may arise.
• Complete departmental checklists as assigned.
• Lock event spaces and meeting rooms as directed.
• Log and process all lost and found items.
• Monitor for signs of intoxication and take appropriate safety measures for guests.
• Respond to guest comments and concerns and inform the manager on duty with corrective actions.

• Pay or shift range: $17 USD to $18 USD

Description

What you'll do:

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points
• Ensure all paper and electronic logs are consistent, accurate, and up-to-date
• Assist departmental managers in completing and processing incident reports
• Lead with hospitality to resolve and diffuse conflicts that may arise
• Complete departmental checklists as assigned
• Lock event spaces and meeting rooms as directed
• Log and process all lost and found items
• Attempt to limit issues and liability related to excessive drinking by having an awareness of signs of intoxication, and taking appropriate measures to ensure the safety of our guests.
• Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform the manager on duty and apply corrective measures when necessary.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good, safe working condition
• Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the property and keep abreast of safety and emergency procedures and OSHA requirements

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws about the activities of security personnel (including OSHA, Hazardous Communications, and Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control) preferred
• CPR/AED/First Aid training certification preferred
