Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Title coordination: manage acquisition, verification and processing of vehicle titles for total loss claims.
  • Coordinate with lienholders, DMVs, and internal departments for proper title transfer.
  • Review title documents for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain records of title status in the claims system.
  • Loss mitigation support and recovery opportunities including salvage/subrogation.
  • Collaborate with adjusters, legal teams and vendors to support recovery efforts.
  • Monitor outstanding balances, title issues and lien releases.
  • Communicate with customers, accounts and vendors on title/recovery inquiries.
  • Provide timely updates and resolve title processing issues.
  • Ensure all activities comply with state laws and company policies.
  • Maintain organized documentation for audits and reviews.
  • Data tracking and weekly reporting on inventory and resolutions.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Provide support to management and staff with questions on account insurance coverage. Provide first-level escalation for calls or complaints. Monitor daily claim workloads and recommend changes to effect efficient, profitable and effective daily processing of claims. Responsible for special projects as assigned. Examine, analyze, and determine the extent of the company's liability concerning casualty or property loss or damages on claims filed. Calculate payments and approve payment of claims within the delegated authority limit.

Essential Functions:
  • Title Coordination: Manage the acquisition, verification, and processing of vehicle titles for total loss claims.
  • Coordinate with lienholders, DMVs, and internal departments to ensure proper title transfer and release.
  • Review title documents for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with state and company regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of title status and documentation in the claims management system.
  • Loss Mitigation Support: Assist in identifying and pursuing recovery opportunities including salvage and subrogation.
  • Collaborate with adjusters, legal teams, and external vendors to support recovery efforts.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances, title issues, and lien releases.
  • Customer and Vendor Communication: Serve as a point of contact for customers, accounts and vendors regarding title and recovery-related inquiries.
  • Provide timely updates and resolve issues related to title processing and loss mitigation.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all title and recovery activities comply with state laws, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for audits and internal reviews.
  • Data tracking and weekly reporting on inventory, reconciliation, operational obstacles and resolutions.
  • Assist with other duties assigned.
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Adjuster License required
  • 0-3 years of claims adjusting experience required

Pay information

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The salary for the position is $27.84 - $47.84.
