Markel Group is seeking a Claims Adjuster to support management and staff with coverage questions, escalate issues, and monitor daily workloads. You will examine liabilities on claims and authorize payments within authority, coordinating with lienholders and vendors as needed.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, an adjuster license, and 0-3 years of claims experience. US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Provide support to management and staff with questions on account insurance coverage. Provide first-level escalation for calls or complaints. Monitor daily claim workloads and recommend changes to effect efficient, profitable and effective daily processing of claims. Responsible for special projects as assigned. Examine, analyze, and determine the extent of the company's liability concerning casualty or property loss or damages on claims filed. Calculate payments and approve payment of claims within the delegated authority limit.

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The salary for the position is $27.84 - $47.84.
