Job summary

Newrez LLC is seeking a Loss Mitigation Fulfillment Project Manager to oversee daily Fulfillment tasks and drive high-quality outputs in a compliant, efficient environment.

You will maintain the Compliance Inbox, update procedures, and partner with Compliance to monitor portfolio performance. The role requires strong MS Office skills and 5+ years in Loss Mitigation, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 2-4 years project management experience.
  • 5+ years of Loss Mitigation/Default Servicing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day tasks and performance of Fulfillment responsibilities.
  • Maintain responsibility for the Fulfillment Compliance Inbox.
  • Update process and procedure documentation for the Fulfillment Department.
  • Act as a liaison with other departments to foster efficiency and output.
  • Ensure compliance with Investor guidelines and quality controls.
  • Continually review and refine processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with Compliance to monitor changes in trends, regulations and portfolio performance.
  • Hold weekly performance update meetings with Senior Management.
  • Undertake special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

The position focuses on identifying and managing the key factors that drive performance within the department with a strong focus on reporting, compliance, and quality processing.DescriptionEssential Functions, Duties, and ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day tasks and performance of designated Fulfillment responsibilities.Maintain responsibility for the Fulfillment Compliance Inbox.Maintain and update process and procedure documentation for the Fulfillment Department.Act as a liaison with other departments to foster efficiency, process improvement and high-quality output.Ensure compliance with all Investor guidelines and quality controls are in place to protect Shellpoint and its clients.Ensure department policies and procedures are maintained and timely updates are submitted. Continually review and refine processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.Partner with Compliance to monitor change in trends, regulations and outliers that impact portfolio performance, focusing on identification of improvement opportunities.Hold weekly performance update meetings with Senior Management.Undertake special projects related to departmental activities and perform other duties as assigned.Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.Performs related duties as assigned by management.Qualifications and Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent, required.Bachelor’s degree, preferred.2-4 years project management experience.5+ years of Loss Mitigation/Default Servicing experience.Skills, Abilities, and KnowledgeStrong Microsoft Office skills required.Understanding of mortgage servicing. Collections, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and/or REO experience preferred.Demonstrated strong skill set for organization and attention to detail.Self-Motivated. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong analytical, problem solving and mathematical skills to be used in evaluation and interpretation of complex information.Understanding of mortgage lending and servicing, particularly late-stage collections, and loan modifications.Strong follow-up skills, as well as the ability to meet strict deadlines.Work Environment and Physical RequirementsWorking on-site at assigned office location.Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.Additional Information:While this description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the position’s requirements, it in no way implies/states that these are the only job responsibilities.
