NewRez LLC is seeking a Property Preservation Specialist I to oversee inspection reports, assess property condition, and coordinate repairs with vendors. This on-site role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple vendors and deadlines.
Under minimal supervision, you will review inspections, track progress, and ensure alignment with investor expectations, while adhering to company policies and contributing to the Default Support team.

Under minimal supervision the Property Preservation Specialist I will be responsible for ordering and reviewing Property Inspection reports, analyzing the property’s condition, and recognizing needed repairs, ordering appropriate bids to cure the damage, and monitoring the repairs through to completion. The Property Preservation Specialist I will orchestrate most of this work through established vendors, monitor the vendors’ work through completion, follow-up on overdue deliverables, and evaluate the vendors’ relative performance.

In addition, the Company has determined that an in‑person presence is important to critical components of our work, including oversight, training, collaboration, and productivity. Items not marked (*) as essential on‑site, may still require partial on‑site work to perform the role satisfactorily.
High school diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred. 1‑2 years Single‑Family Default Real Estate Servicing experience, direct Property Preservation experience preferred.
Ability to analyze pictures and reports to obtain a clear understanding of the actual property condition. Excellence in communication via telephone and written communication. Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skill. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong analytical, problem solving and mathematical skills to be used in directing decision‑making. Basic understanding of Mortgage lending and servicing. Strong negotiation and follow‑up skills, as well as the ability to meet strict deadlines.
