Job summary

Hancock Whitney in New Orleans, LA seeks a Loss Mitigation Administrator to provide complex administrative and analytical support across performing and non-performing loan portfolios. You will analyze financial data, prepare reports, gather documents, and ensure compliant, timely maintenance of accounts.

Minimum 5+ years in a financial institution preferred; strong PC, communication, and research skills are required to deliver high-quality service to customers and management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ related experience preferably in a financial institution.
• Knowledge of loan documentation requirements and regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of deposit and loan systems and report generation.
• Excellent oral and written communication with delivery of superior service.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes financial information, credit reports, collateral and loan data for consultation and reporting.
• Compiles and analyzes account data for tracking and trend reports for management.
• Responds to requests for documents, ensuring file acquisition, transfer and storage.
• Maintains account portfolio with timely updates and maintenance.
• Gathers loan information and prepares various forms and submissions.
• Reviews and audits loan documentation.
• Collaborates with internal/external counsel and auditors providing information and research.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Complies with applicable banking laws including Bank Secrecy Act.
