Job summary

One80 Intermediaries seeks a Loss Control Manager to lead loss-control and risk-management services for school districts, public entities, and institutional clients. The role blends technical expertise with leadership, education, and client relations to prevent losses and manage risk with confidence.

You will develop programs, conduct evaluations, deliver trainings, analyze data, and present findings to governing boards while traveling regularly to client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in property and casualty loss control or risk management.
• Ability to translate complex insurance concepts into practical guidance.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Experience with field inspections and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve loss-control programs for Trusts, Pools, and Associations.
• Conduct property and casualty loss-control evaluations across exposures.
• Design and deliver engaging loss-control presentations and training.
• Develop and administer a property appraisal system for members and districts.
• Analyze claims data to identify trends and prioritize initiatives.
• Build relationships with member organizations as their risk-management resource.
• Present quarterly loss-control performance reports to boards and managers.
• Lead the Loss Control department budget and collaborate with claims, underwriting, and program administration.
• Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned.
