Job summary

One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Loss Control Manager to lead loss-control and risk-management services for school districts, public entities, and institutional clients. The role blends property and casualty expertise with leadership, public speaking, and client relationship management.

You will develop and deliver loss-control programs, conduct evaluations, and communicate practical guidance to prevent losses and manage risk with confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience in property and casualty loss control, risk management, safety, or inspections.
• Strong knowledge of commercial loss control principles.
• Ability to independently conduct field inspections and develop practical recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills for varied audiences.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into clear conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve loss-control programs for Trusts, Pools, and Associations.
• Conduct loss-control evaluations across property, operations, vehicles, and facilities.
• Design and deliver engaging loss-control presentations and training for groups and online platforms.
• Develop a property appraisal system using field data and electronic measuring tools.
• Analyze claims data to identify trends and prioritize impactful initiatives.
• Build trusted relationships with member organizations as risk-management resource.
• Prepare and present quarterly loss-control reports to boards and program managers.
• Manage department budget and collaborate with claims, underwriting, and program administration.
• Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned.
