Job summary

Baekjeong Korean BBQ in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a dishwasher to support our kitchen team and ensure back-of-house cleanliness. You will wash utensils, pots and dishes by hand and in the dishwasher, maintain sanitation, and assist with general cleaning and organization of the prep area.

Requirements include a Food Handler Card and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior dishwashing in high-volume venues is preferred, with opportunities for learning and growth in a busy

Responsibilities

• Wash utensils, pots, grills, and dishes by hand and in the dishwasher.
• Use detergent and sanitizer properly.
• Clear hazards and keep area safe and clean.
• Clean and detail equipment and surfaces.
• Empty and clean garbage cans.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Sanitize walls and surfaces.
• Scrub rings with scraper or scrubber.
• Soak tanks and rinse as needed.
• Recycle cardboard materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

Dishwashers support kitchen tasks, keep back of the house maintained, washing dishes and appliances, small wares cleaned and sanitized, emptying trash receptacles, scrubbing floors, restocking items, and performing other tasks to ensure that the kitchen areas are clean and prepared for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dirty utensils, pots, grills, dishes, by hand and/or dishwasher
• Proper use detergent/sanitizer
