Job summary

Penske Motor Group is seeking a Service Valet to welcome guests and move service guest vehicles, ensuring smooth traffic flow and an orderly parking area. You will support Service Consultants, document guest questions, and help maintain a professional dealership environment.

The role includes handling vehicle checks, coordinating rides for guests, and contributing to a clean, organized workspace with high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend English instructions.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission and coordinate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet service guests and simplify check-in process with clear answers to facility questions.
• Coordinate with Service Consultants to document guest questions and ensure they are addressed.
• Install and remove disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tags in serviced vehicles.
• Retrieve guest vehicles from the parking lot and deliver/pick up guests as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for lot damage and record any exterior damage on check-in sheets.
• Follow up with personnel to ensure guest concerns are resolved and maintain professional appearance.

The Service Valet is responsible for moving service guest vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility, to increase guest convenience, and to maintain an orderly service parking area.

Responsibilities

• Provides great guest experience by welcoming all Service guests to ensure their check-in process is simple, easy providing answers to any facility questions.
• Work alongside Service Consultants to ensure all guest's questions are documented and get addressed during the guest's visit.
• Installs and removes disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tags in all the vehicles brought in for service.
• Retrieves guest vehicles from the parking lot.
• Delivers and picks up guests, as needed.
• Inspects each vehicle for lot damage that may have occurred during the vehicle’s stay in the service department.
• May record any external vehicle damage (scratches, dents) and vehicle information on check-in sheet and submits to designated personnel.
• Follows up with appropriate personnel to ensure guest concerns were resolved.
• Helps maintain a professional appearance of the sales, service department, and courtesy van.
• Secures the courtesy van on premises, usually inside the shop at the end of the day.
• Assists with large events, including preparation, organizing, setting up. Offsite events and dealership location.
• Assists in all areas of the dealership as needed.
• Maintains assigned workplace in an organized and clean manner.
• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent desired.
• A minimum of six (6) months customer service experience, desired.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission, coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
