Job summary

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in Norristown, PA seeks a Long-Term Substitute School Psychologist to join the Office of Early Childhood Services, serving in Early Intervention for children ages 3-5. The position is currently approved through the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications include a valid PDE certificate in School Psychology, a Master’s degree (Doctorate preferred), and required clearances.

A vacancy exists for a Long-Term Substitute SchoolPsychologistto work within the Office of Early Childhood Servicesat the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. This position will be working in Early Intervention and supportingchildren ages 3-5 years old. This position is currently approved until the end of the 2026-2027 school year.

Location: The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is located in Norristown, PA and services children throughout Montgomery County, PA. Our Early Intervention Program is split on school district lines into four (4) regions within Montgomery County. Position location will be determined during the interview process. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 12 months (194 days/year)

2026-2027 Salary:

• Bachelor's, Step 1: $55,194/year
• Master's, Step 1: $66,508/year

*Placement on salary schedule based on experience and/or education beyond the Master's Degree.
