Qualified candidates hold a current Indiana nursing license, a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, and RN credentials. The role involves health assessments, screenings, medication administration, and collaboration with educators.

Responsibilities

• Assess, identify, and monitor the physical, emotional, and social needs of students and school personnel.
• Assist students and school personnel who become ill or are injured at school.
• Provide health counseling and follow-up to students, their families, and school personnel.
• Assist teachers in adapting the school program to meet the individual needs of all students.
• Schedule and conduct vision and scoliosis screening tests and assist with hearing screening.
• Implement operational procedures for dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications in the school in accordance with Corporation's medication policies.
