Biddeford Middle School is seeking a long-term substitute for middle school math beginning Fall 2026. The position involves developing and administering a middle school curriculum and conducting ongoing assessments to tailor instruction for diverse learners, including those with special needs.
The candidate should hold a Maine Elementary Education certification (020), consent to fingerprinting and CHRC, and meet education requirements.
Starting: Fall 2026
The Middle School is grades 5-7.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
Full Job Description
Certification in Elementary Education (020) from the Maine Department of Education
Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education
Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
Masters Degree in related area preferred.
Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade levels is preferred but not required.
Based on education level, experience, and certification
Range: $125 - $140 per day
