Duties Include
- Manage student learning in accordance with the goals of the Fall River Public School District
- Implement lesson plans while ensuring the integrity of academic time in a manner that motivates students to learn and participate
- Organize students for effective instruction
- Ensure adequate supervision to assure health, welfare, and safety of all students
- Maintain and respect confidentiality of student and school personnel information
- Comply with and support school and District regulations and policies
- Follow oral and written directions and establish effective working relationships with staff and students
- Maintain effective classroom management strategies
- Report all student injuries, accidents, illnesses, and discipline problems to the appropriate authority immediately or as soon as is reasonably possible
- Perform other related duties as assigned by building administrator(s) in accordance with District policies and practices
Minimum Qualifications
- 60 College Credits (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
- Candidates seeking a career in education are preferred
