Work Week: 6.5 hrs per day; 8:10 am-3:10 pm Monday-Friday, per the school calendar

Position Summary: Performs intermediate human support work assisting classroom teachers by working with special needs students individually or in small groups, and related work as apparent or assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with children; Associates/Technical degree preferred; Experience supporting students with special education needs; Experience organizing and managing special education paperwork

Special Requirements: Must hold AA/AS degree, completed 60 semester credits, approved competency portfolio or pass MN Parapro test; Training in Blood Borne Pathogens upon hire; Training in Crisis Prevention Intervention within 6-12 months upon hire as needed for program; Valid driver's license in the State of Minnesota.
