MANAGER B

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

• Managerial work directing a Middle School staff of employees engaged in the preparation and service of a variety of meals in a school cafeteria.
• Supervises the training of new personnel.
• Plans, assigns, supervises and inspects the work of subordinates through daily work and cleaning schedules.
• Responsible for ordering and receiving all food and supplies.
• Collaborates with Food Service Director in planning monthly menu.
• Supervises and participates in the preparation, cooking and service of a wide variety of food items and a la carte offerings.
• Supervises care and use of equipment.
• Follows established procedures to ensure standards of cleanliness, health and safety.
• Responsible for daily cash receipts.
• Responsible for keeping accurate food production, inventory, meal count and financial records.
• Delivers a yearly evaluation to all staff with assistance from Food Service Director.
• Eligible to participate in professional development classes when offered.
