Job summary

Aitkin School District # 0001 is seeking a Long Term Sub to teach Spanish at the high school from 7:30 - 11:30, Monday - Friday, for the 2026-2027 school year (November 20, 2026 to April 12, 2027).

Candidates will develop lessons for all levels, collaborate with team members, and support each student’s education in developing Spanish language skills. Must hold MN K-12 Spanish licensure and work with diverse learners in grades 7–12.

Qualifications

• Current MN K-12 Spanish Licensure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with students in grades 7–12.

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish courses at the high school level following Minnesota state standards.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that promote language acquisition (speaking, listening, reading, writing).
• Incorporate technology and real-world applications to enhance learning.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Participate in professional development and school activities as required.
• Establish and maintain high standards for the educational experience.

This person will work with studentslearning Spanishfor the 2026-2027School Year from November 20, 2026 to April 12, 2027.
