Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Colorado Department of Education In-Field qualification required or strong requirement.
• Colorado substitute teaching certificate or Colorado teaching license required to teach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with administrators, teachers, students and families.
• Ability to prepare reports and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Designs coherent instruction aligned to district curricula.
• Reflects on teaching and adjusts for future instruction with rationale.
• Provides clear and accurate instruction and shares learning goals with students.
• Uses multiple teaching strategies and differentiates for EL, IEP, GT populations.
• Establishes an environment where students explain their thinking and uses feedback for improvement.
• Maintains effective classroom management and supports student learning.
• Assesses student learning with formative and summative assessments and provides timely feedback.
• Uses assessment data to adjust ongoing instruction.
• Contributes to district goals and collaborates with colleagues.
