Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ohio license or certificate.
• Must have demonstrated skill in teaching a secondary learning environment.

• Have the ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, staff, and parents.
• Must have the full support of the Building Principal, Director of Academics, and Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers district curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
• Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individual and small group instruction, and student learning.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates lesson plans into learning experiences to develop relevant sequential assignments.
• Teaches knowledge and skills in state and national standards for the content area.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, and modifies instructional methods to fit individual students' needs.
