Educational Service Center of the Western Reserve seeks a Long Term Substitute Teacher (Art) for South High. The role covers 11/2/2026 through 12/18/2026 with a daily rate of $125.00, rising to $252.71 per day after 30 consecutive days.

Must hold valid Ohio teaching certification and adapt instruction to meet student needs. The candidate will communicate with students and parents, collaborate with staff, and deliver engaging lessons in the Art curriculum while supporting a positive learning

Qualifications

• Demonstrate proficiency in teaching methodologies and instructional techniques.

• Must have appropriate, valid certification to teach the assigned content area as recognized by the Ohio Department of Education.
• Proficiency in teaching, i.e. -- demonstrate ability to adapt their knowledge of educational methodology and variety of instructional techniques for the benefit of students in the learning environment.
• Scholarly competence in the structure and content of the subject area for which they are responsible.
• Ability to communicate with students and parents the manner in which the curriculumrelates to them.
• Demonstrate the ability to work and interact with other staff members, students and administration in a manner that is cooperative and productive.
