Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools seeks an Elementary School Reading/Basic Skills teacher. The role involves delivering instruction aligned to the district curriculum, providing targeted reading support, and maintaining clear communication with families.

Qualified candidates will have a Minnesota teaching license with a K-12 Reading endorsement. Bilingual English/Spanish abilities and experience with Wilson or similar programs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Minnesota teaching license and K-12 Reading endorsement.
• Experience in elementary education and reading instruction.
• Ability to collaborate with staff and families.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials aligned to the District curriculum.
• Provides individualized and small group instruction.
• Maintains records and communicates with parents (Schoology, newsletters, calls, emails).
• Integrates technology into instruction.
• Collaborates with colleagues and participates in professional learning communities.
