Burlington Township Middle School is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Guidance Counselor to fill a temporary position from February 1st, 2027 - June 23rd, 2027 (summer hours will also be required). The primary responsibility of this role is to promote the social, emotional, and personal development of all students, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters student success. This role requires flexibility, time-management skills, and a passion for supporting students.

Job Requirements

• MUST HAVE New Jersey certification Standard Educational Services Certificate,Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW),Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) or Nurse Practitioner with a concentration in mental health.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience working with students in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues affecting middle and high school students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and community members.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive school environment.

Daily Rate: $250 a day
