Responsibilities include coordinating with specialists, communicating with parents, and maintaining records for a self-contained autism-focused classroom. The candidate will teach in a setting serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and participate in meetings and planning

Qualifications

• Must hold MA DESE Teacher of Students with Severe Disabilities licensure.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Please bring official transcripts to the hiring supervisor if interviewed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts with specialists assigned to provide specific services.
• Confer with parents to promote better understanding of the pupil and his/her environment.
• Assist and guide ancillary personnel.
• Attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and reports reflecting activities as required or directed.
• Teach in a self-contained classroom servicing students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
