Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Valid MA Teaching License in Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities, PreK-8 OR Teacher of Students with Severe Disabilities, All Levels.
• SEI Endorsement OR ESL License.
• Fully licensed and Highly Qualified per state guidelines.
• Current authorization to work in the United States by first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and adapt direct/explicit instruction across content areas using multi-sensory teaching and accommodations as needed.
• Collaborate with grade-level teachers, other SPED teachers, and specialists to support designated students.
• Implement and monitor IEPs/progress reports and Team processes with families and staff.
• Maintain accurate records and use data-based decision making to guide instruction.
