Job summary

Riley Street Middle School in Hudsonville, MI seeks a long-term substitute teacher for EI SPEd at the middle school level from March through June 2027. Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from a college or university
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with SE endorsement
• Additional training and/or education (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Teaches core subjects to students with an IEP in a middle school setting
• Lead meetings and development of IEPs, Functional Behavior Analysis, and Behavior Intervention Plans
• Develops lesson plans and provides individualized and small group instruction
• Maintains behavior standards to support transition to general education
• Communicates with parents about student progress and school programs
• Administers group-standardized tests and participates in curriculum development
