Job summary

Lee Elementary in Middleville, MI seeks a Resource Room Teacher (Long-term substitute) to provide instructional support and assessment help in a special education setting from mid-December 2026 through April 9, 2027. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–12:30 pm, with daily collaboration with staff and ongoing IEP implementation.

Applicants should hold a Michigan teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement (or pursuing), prefer elementary experience, and be able to facilitate

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• MI SPED endorsement preferred.
• Elementary experience preferred.
• Ability to facilitate an IEP and complete necessary paperwork.
• Understanding of state and federal special education rules and regulations.
• Ability to work with other professionals in a collaborative manner.
