Job summary

Hendricks Community Hospital is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team in Long Term Care. Primarily days with rotating weekends and holidays, the RN will provide the highest quality care for residents and ensure their needs are met.

The position offers a starting wage of $36.00 per hour, a sign-on bonus of $2500, and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, dental, vision, and student loan reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, licensed as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota.
• Previous experience in geriatric nursing preferred.
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement resident needs ensuring quality care.
• Strong leadership, initiative, and independent judgment skills required.
• Flexibility to handle changing situations and emergency needs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assessing, planning and implementing resident needs.
• Provides input and updates on resident care plan ensuring it is followed.
• Administers and monitors effectiveness of medications.
• Communicates with medical staff to ensure quality care.
• Job involves moderate to heavy physical work.
