Job summary

Sioux Center Health is seeking a Long Term Care RN to direct and supervise resident care in a faith-based setting. You will plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for residents, ensuring safety and quality of life under Iowa Nursing Practice Code.

Qualifications

• RN license in Iowa with CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum one year of Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise resident care consistent with nursing codes and Sioux Center Health standards.
• Read report from previous shift and write shift report for the following shift.
• Supervise meals and hydration, ensuring proper diet and nutrition for residents.
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered, with accurate documentation.
• Observe and document changes in resident condition every two hours or as needed.
• Participate in managerial tasks such as interviewing, hiring, and training staff.
