PharMerica in Reno, NV is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our non-retail, closed-door pharmacy team serving long-term care and senior living clients. You will fill prescriptions, label products, and assist with inventory in a collaborative setting.

The position offers licensing support, on-the-job training, and a schedule of Mon-Fri with rotating weekends. Benefits include health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plan, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications.
• Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, and effective oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Accurately label products and prepare medications, including non-sterile compounding.
• Enter patient and prescription data into the computer system.
• Assist with inventory management and handling recalled or expired meds.
• Support onboarding and training of new pharmacy staff.
