PharMerica in Reno, NV is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join a closed-door, long-term care-focused team. You will handle dispensing, labeling, IV prep, and inventory while supporting onboarding and a strong patient-care culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer and recognize medications.
• Detail oriented, goal oriented, team player, and effective communicator.

Responsabilités

• Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Accurately label products with cautions and auxiliary labels.
• Prepare medications including non-sterile compounding.
• Enter patient and prescription data to generate labels.
• Assist with inventory management and handling returns per protocol.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
• Assist onboarding and training of new staff.
• Operate in Narcotics room and with automated prepack machines and IV preparation.
