Job summary

PharMerica in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for our closed-door, non-retail pharmacy team serving long-term care and senior living clients.

You will fill prescriptions, label medications accurately, and support inventory while working in a collaborative environment with opportunities for training and advancement. We cover technician license fees for new hires and eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician license required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer and recognize/identify medications.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Accurately label products with cautionary and auxiliary labels.
• Prepare medications including non-sterile compounding.
• Enter patient and prescription data to generate labels in the system.
• Assist with inventory management and handling expired medications.
