PharMerica in Reno, NV is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician Trainee to join our closed-door, non-retail pharmacy serving long-term care and senior living clients. You’ll gain ongoing training, with opportunities for advancement and licensing support, while working with a supportive team.

Responsibilities include prescription fulfillment, compounding, inventory management, order entry, and patient communication. Competitive benefits are offered with a schedule Mon-Fri and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate a computer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to work independently and collaborate with a team accurately and efficiently.
• Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business days.

Responsabilités

• Prescription fulfillment and accuracy: fills prescriptions per state regulations and labels products for safety.
• Medication preparation and compounding: non-sterile compounding experience; sterile/IV prep per standards.
• Inventory and supply management: participate in inventory, stock shelves, remove expired items.
• Order entry and documentation: enter new and refills with precision; maintain compliance records.
• Customer and facility support: respond to inquiries and coordinate with facilities for timely delivery.
• Additional duties to support pharmacy operations and patient care.
