CVS Health’s Omnicare unit seeks a licensed pharmacist for a full‑time, non‑customer-facing LTC position in South Carolina. You’ll ensure accurate order entry, maintain pharmacy security and support on‑call coverage.

You’ll supervise sterile IV preparations if required, manage inventory for scheduled drugs, and ensure compliance with DEA/state laws and HIPAA. The role offers competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of South Carolina.
• Knowledge of DEA and state law with regards to controlled drug dispensing.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders
• Maintain security of the pharmacy
• Adhere to required delivery schedules
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy
• Check labels and orders for completeness and precision
• Check drug packaging and labeling accuracy
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV products if required
• Assist in perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs
• Know and apply DEA/state laws for controlled dispensing
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Follow HIPAA and all applicable regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
