Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or B.Pharmacy and New York licensure, with IV and LTC experience preferred. Evening, weekend, and holiday coverage is part of the rotation.

Qualifications

• Valid New York Pharmacist licensure (required).
• IV and Long Term Care experience preferred.
• PharmD or Bachelors of Pharmacy degree required.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders accurately and ensure timely processing.
• Maintain pharmacy security and adhere to HIPAA and state laws.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Prepare sterile IV products as needed and supervise where required.
• Manage inventory for schedule II drugs and ensure compliance.
• Provide evening, weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.
