Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments in Washington, DC. The RN will deliver high-quality care in LTC/assisted living facilities, applying clinical judgment and coordinating patient care with supervision where needed.

Current RN license for the practicing state is required; LTC experience and/or LTC certification preferred. CPR and health certificate may be required by contracts or regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• LTC experience preferred.
• LTC or Assisted living certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• CPR current if applicable.
• Health certificate current as required by contract or regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Long Term Care RN assumes responsibility andaccountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long Term Care and/orAssisted Living Facilities. The nursedemonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficientmanner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilitiesin the coordination of patient care.Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standardsand is accountable for managing patient care and assisting others in themanagement of patient care.

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices
