Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, seeks a Traveling Long Term Care RN to deliver nursing care within Long Term Care and Assisted Living facilities in Georgetown, DE. The role emphasizes clinical judgment, coordination of patient care, and adherence to nursing standards with supervisory support.

Assigned 36 hours weekly, with pay of $2106 per week and competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state of practice.
• LTC experience preferred.
• LTC or Assisted living certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Long Term Care RN assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long Term Care and/or Assisted Living Facilities. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilities in the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standards and is accountable for managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• LTC experience preferred
• LTC or Assisted living certification preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
