Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Long Term Care LPN for a travel assignment in La Grange Park, IL. The LPN will support the care team in delivering patient care in a long-term care/assisted living setting and will apply clinical judgment under supervision to coordinate patient care.

Required are an IL LPN license, BLS, health certificate, and the ability to pass screening with 80% or greater; must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for IL required.
• Current Health Certificate if applicable.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Pass screening tests with 80%+ in specialty areas.
• Amergis Background Screening Process completed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist care team in delivery of care for Long Term Care/Assisted Living patients.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment with supervision and coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to nursing standards and manage patient care activities.

Pay: $2092 / Week

Hours: 36.00

Location: La Grange Park, IL

The Long Term Care LPN assists the care team in the deliveryof care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility. The nursedemonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficientmanner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilityin the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state inwhich the nurse practices
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS card
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinicalspecialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater
• Successful completion of Amergis Background ScreeningProcess
• Must be at least 18 years of age
