Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC seeks a Cook/Dietary Aide for Grapevine Medical Lodge in Grapevine, TX. The role prepares meals per planned menus and recipes, ensuring safety standards and timely service.

You will review menus and census data to determine quantities, assist with ordering and storage, and maintain strict food-handling guidelines. This on-site position requires prior kitchen/care experience and adherence to health codes.

Qualifications

• Two years as cook in a large-scale operation preferred.
• One year's work experience in long-term care preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meal items according to planned menus and recipes.
• Reviews menus, census information, production guides and pre-prep sheets to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared.
• Prepares food following safe food handling guidelines per company policy and state and federal codes and regulations.
• Assists with food ordering, storage and preparation as designated by the supervisor.
• Monitors and records food temperatures prior to meal service.
• Follows standardized recipes and uses nutrition equivalent substitutes when required.
• Cleans equipment and work area; follows cleaning schedule; maintains kitchen hygiene.
