Job summary

Apploi is seeking an Admissions and Marketing Coordinator for our long-term care facility network. You will coordinate admissions, market the facility to referral sources, and build relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, and discharge planners.

Travel is required to connect with community partners and ensure smooth transitions for residents. Qualifications include experience in long-term care admissions/marketing, reading and communicating in English, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Long term care admissions/marketing experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language clearly.
• Must have leadership and supervisory ability and work harmoniously with staff.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Answer referrals in a timely manner.
• Coordinate admissions with physicians and discharge planners for smooth transitions.
• Market the facility to referral sources to gain new business.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, discharge planners and other referral sources.
• Recruit and credential new physicians to the facility.
• Complete admission paperwork promptly and ensure all required documents are in place.
• Verify payer sources and clinical approval prior to admission.
• Communicate with the Administrator and address concerns or complaints promptly.
• Engage with community organizations to promote the facility.

Education

Bachelor's Degree preferred
